Stainless Steel 304 - Alloy Composition

Stainless steel type 304 is part of a family of stainless steel alloys (301, 302, 303, 304, 316, 347). Non-magnetic alloy 304 is the most versatile and the most widely used of all stainless steels, and has lower carbon content to minimize carbide precipitation and is used in high-temperature applications. It's commonly used to process equipment in the mining, chemical, cryogenic, food, dairy and pharmaceutical industries. Its resistance to corrosive acids.
