Welcome to ESPI Metals

ESPI was incorporated in 1950 with a company mission to provide a single, reliable source for researcher's high purity metals, metal compounds and metal alloys for research & development and manufacturing. This mission continues today, after more than sixty years.

ESPI's continuing goal is to supply high quality products, service, and support to our customers at competitive prices. The company began as a small business and continues to operate in the same manner today. Unlike larger organizations that are typically constrained by their size and associated bureaucracy, ESPI's flexibility enables prompt response to any customer's unique needs. We can ship orders faster, have no minimum order size, and you will always be greeted by a competent sales representative during business hours when you call...automated answering systems & voice mail will never be an option at ESPI.

Throughout our years of service we have come to be a valued resource for high purity metals for virtually all major universities, domestic and international manufacturing companies and corporate R&D laboratories worldwide, as well as most U.S. government research laboratories.

Located within our fabrication facility is the melting department, forging & shaping areas, and the rod & wire, and sheet & foil departments providing the following manufacturing capabilities:

  • Casting of pure metals and alloys
  • Vacuum arc melting
  • Induction melting
  • Rod and wire drawing/extrusion
  • Sheet, foil and ribbon rolling
  • CNC milling and machining
